The 900 Board Satellite Modem is a high-performance satellite router board that supports both fixed and mobile integrated terminals. The 900 features dual DVB-S2 demodulators, an 8-port Gigabit switch and two Ethernet ports. The 900 provides a superior level of IP broadband capability, supporting DVB-S2/ACM and Adaptive TDMA. Service providers can implement the most efficient technology dependent on their network architecture, resulting in a more cost efficient use of extremely small antennas for government and military applications including command and vehicle-based terminals. The 900 is compliant with TRANSEC, FIPS 140-2 Level 3, and 256-bit AES encryption.

Our newest product to join the 9-Series line, the 9050 OM is a ruggedized enclosure that protects our 950mp satellite router board from the elements. Weighing in at around 5 pounds, the 9050 OM can be submerged in water for up to 30 minutes and turn back on, fully operational with no issues and needs less than 20 watts of power to function, making it ideal for teams operating in remote locations around the globe.

The 980 is a powerful satellite modem board architected specifically for integration into defense and government aircraft for operations in an ultra high-speed COTM environment. The 980 is designed to integrate into a ARINC 600 enclosure or other customized solutions, facilitate compliance with WGS, DO-160G and ARINC 791 standards and is manufactured to strict aerospace AS9100 standard for quality.

The 9800 AE+ features an ARINC 600 4MCU enclosure for fixed integration on defense and government aircraft for operations in an ultra high-speed COTM environment. The 9800 AE+ is operational up to 55,000 feet and meets the rigorous environmental test standards for MIL-STD 810G, MIL-STD 461F, MIL-STD 704F, and DO-160G.

Compatible on both the Evolution and Velocity platforms, the ASM1200 features high-speed broadband IP connectivity over satellite using Very Small Aperture Terminals (VSAT) for C-, Ku- and Ka-bands and OpenAMIP mobility in an IP67 rated enclosure. OpenAMIP is an IP based protocol that facilitates the exchange of information between an Antenna Controller Unit and a satellite modem ensuring a seamless integration. The outdoor modem is suitable for enterprise, cellular backhaul, land mobile and maritime applications.

The Evolution® Multi-Carrier Mesh solution is iDirect’s high performance product with an industry-leading aggregate receive throughput of up to 29 Msps and individual carrier rates up to 15 Msps (iQ Series). Based on the Mesh Receiver and an iQ Series, 9 Series, or X7 modem, the DVB-S2/DVB-S2X (iQ Series) mesh offering is implemented as a mesh overlay on an Evolution® star topology network. The mesh overlay provides direct connectivity between remote terminals with a single trip over the satellite, thereby halving the latency and reducing satellite bandwidth requirements.
