Description

highly integrated H.264 high/standard definition and MPEG-2 standard definition encoding/transcoding device, capable of supporting 4 channels of independent real-time encoding or transcoding, as well as transport stream remultiplexing functions. The input interfaces support HDMI, SDI, CVBS, IP, and ASI. The encoded or transcoded streams can be remultiplexed for output or directly output via IP.

The IP section of this encoder has three operational modes: single-channel full-duplex mode, featuring 1 MPTS input and 1 MPTS output (with a built-in multiplexer capable of remultiplexing 4 local encoded/transcoded streams and 1 ASI or IP input stream); multi-channel IP output mode, supporting 5 IP outputs (4 local encoded streams and 1 ASI stream or 1 remultiplexed stream), with each of the 5 streams being directly output; and multi-channel full-duplex mode, supporting 4 SPTS inputs and 4 SPTS + 1 MPTS output via IP.

The encoding fully complies with international H.264/AVC HP@L4.0 & MPEG-2 MP@ML encoding standards.
It supports 4 channels of HDMI, 4 channels of SDI, or 4 channels of CVBS input, with each channel being independently encoded. CVBS input only supports standard definition encoding.
Supported transcoding formats include: H.264 to H.264, H.264 to MPEG-2, MPEG-2 to H.264, and MPEG-2 to MPEG-2.
A built-in multiplexer supports remultiplexing of 5 streams (4 local encoded streams and 1 ASI input stream), with the remultiplexed stream being output via IP and ASI.
It supports 5 IP outputs (4 local encoded streams and 1 ASI stream or 1 remultiplexed stream), with an output bitrate of up to 400Mb/s; ASI can also output the remultiplexed stream.
IP supports multi-channel full-duplex operation, with 4 SPTS inputs and 4 SPTS + 1 MPTS output.
IP single-channel full-duplex mode supports FEC (with TRP protocol support when FEC is used).
Supported video resolutions include: 1080i, 720p, 576i, 480i.
Minimum video encoding bitrate is 300Kb/s.
It supports same-frequency resolution adjustment, allowing for scaling up and down (non-proportional scaling is supported, but frame rate must remain the same).
It supports both VBR and CBR bitrate control methods.

Audio encoding supports: MPEG1 Layer II, MPEG2/4 AAC-LC/HE-AAC.
Remote control and monitoring can be performed via SNMP and HTTP WEB.
It can be installed in a 19″ chassis of DMM-1100 or DMM-210 (with redundant power supplies).
